Greenwich Health Dressing Service
Our Dressing service was launched in December 2018 at Thamesmead Health Centre and in March 2019 at Eltham Community Hospital.
The dressing service was designed to reduce demand on the Urgent Care Centre (UCC) and A&E while improving our patients journey. Any patient who is registered with a Greenwich GP or is permanently residing in Greenwich can be booked into our Greenwich Health Dressing clinic.
Booking is easy, patients can be booked by any of the 30 GP practices in Greenwich. Appointments are available up to 4 weeks in advance.
Our Dressing service has been a huge success thus far and we are proud to offer this service in Greenwich. Our first month in December of 2018 saw a solid utilization rate and the service continues to thrive with increasing numbers of dressing changes being undertaken in 2019.
