GREENWICH HEALTH IS SUPPORTING HEALTHY LONDON PARTNERSHIP & NHS ENGLAND’S #ASKABOUT ASTHMA CAMPAIGN

London’s #AskAboutAsthma campaign is back on! This year running from 3-16 September. Last year was a great success and this year we want to do even better. It’s three simple asks. If you’re working or caring for children and young people with asthma make sure they 1) have an asthma plan 2) can use their inhaler properly 3) have an annual review. If you’re not sure about your own child’s care, talk to their GP #AskAboutAsthma.

Praise For Greenwich Health & Our GP Hubs

My wife contacted our GP on Friday in relation to a relatively minor (paramedic perspective J ) medical issue with our son, a few slots were available locally however they all clashed with school hours, the receptionist suggested a slot at the GP practice at Eltham Community Hospital on Saturday and this was duly accepted.

I brought him to the appointment and the entire experience couldn’t have been more positive, we were seen on time, the GP was excellent, the assessment was pleasant and through and we left about 10 minutes later with a clear diagnosis and treatment plan.

I appreciate that this is probably a specific winter initiative however I cannot praise the system and the individuals enough for the experience we were offered.

I am equally grateful to you and the team for commissioning such an excellent service.

Darren, Eltham
Visiting the GP Hubs was much, much, easier than going to the hospital waiting hours, especially with our young children. I will be visting the Hubs again!
Jennifer, Woolwich Arsenal
I received an appointment very promptly via my GP, which is normally a much longer wait. It was my first time here at the Hub and it had both lovely premises and reception staff. Most importantly, the GP was brilliant, he listened to me carefully and I did not feel rushed at all. Thank you Greenwich Health for great patient service.
Diane
Getting a GP appointment at my surgery was over a 2 week wait, this was less than 24hr wait, very clean, polite staff, really pleased! Thank you to everyone at the Eltham Hub!
Robert, Eltham
