Greenwich Health was formed by the leaders of primary care in the Borough of Greenwich to provide integrated healthcare services across Greenwich and to support our member GP Practices.
Involving all 30 GP practices of Greenwich, our initial mission was to improve the primary care offering by launching our Evening and Weekend Extended Hours GP Hubs. Our hubs were open from 2016-2022 and made primary care accessible to everyone in Greenwich at times that worked for everyone.
Today we are supporting primary care with our PCN Enhanced Access Hubs, Live Well services including: Female Contraception, Stop Smoking and NHS Health Checks, our Diabetes service, Dressing service and much more. We are also launching several new initiatives to improve the health and well-being for everyone in Greenwich.

Greenwich Health 360 Survey
Greenwich Health Ltd was formed in in September 2016 as a GP Federation and is an integrated network of all Greenwich GP Practices. Collaboratively working together to improve the health and wellbeing of Greenwich’s residents, the Federation is integrating health care in Greenwich through our strategic partnerships and learning to give Greenwich’s entire population of over 290,000* the best possible primary care. In addition, we are now also the provider for the Urgent Treatment Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich.
Our mission is to create an environment where health care expertise is shared across the network to realise efficiencies and create synergies and economies of scale.
The Greenwich Health 360 Survey was created to establish a comprehensive view of our organisation and our services. The report comprises the results of 8 surveys and the data was collected in questionnaire forms from: our patients, Reception Staff, Practice Managers and the Greenwich Health head office team.

PRAISE FOR THE GREENWICH HEALTH
My wife contacted our GP on Friday in relation to a relatively minor (paramedic perspective) medical issue with our son, a few slots were available locally however they all clashed with school hours, the receptionist suggested a slot at the GP practice at Eltham Community Hospital on Saturday and this was duly accepted.
I brought him to the appointment and the entire experience couldn’t have been more positive, we were seen on time, the GP was excellent, the assessment was pleasant and through and we left about 10 minutes later with a clear diagnosis and treatment plan.
I appreciate that this is probably a specific winter initiative however I cannot praise the system and the individuals enough for the experience we were offered.
I am equally grateful to you and the team for commissioning such an excellent service.
