An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join the dynamic and supportive team at Thamesmead Medical Associates, a well-established GP training practice in South East London. Serving around 16,000 registered patients and rated Good by the CQC, it provides high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse local population.
As a recognised training environment for GP Registrars and Foundation Doctors, the practice hosts a broad multidisciplinary team, including ARRS roles such as pharmacists, paramedics, and social prescribing link workers. Thamesmead Medical Associates offers a supportive, progressive working environment with weekly protected education time, regular supervision, and opportunities to contribute to teaching, service development, and quality improvement.
The successful candidate will work autonomously to deliver advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis and management across a broad range of patient presentations, including acute, urgent and long-term conditions, with independent prescribing where required. The role involves contributing to coordinated multidisciplinary care, supporting teaching or supervision activities where appropriate, and taking part in service development, audit and quality improvement, while ensuring accurate and timely clinical record-keeping. The practice is seeking an NMC or HCPC-registered clinician with an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (Level 7) or equivalent advanced practice qualification, V300 or equivalent prescribing rights, strong clinical decision-making skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
