Salaried GP (Maternity Leave Cover)

Valentine Health Partnership is recruiting for two exciting Salaried GP opportunities - a permanent role and a maternity leave cover position - to join their friendly, supportive, and well-established practice team. This large, modern practice provides care to approximately 32,000 patients across sites in Woolwich and Shooters Hill, located in the diverse and multicultural borough of Greenwich. As a GP training practice, they offer a strong clinical support network and a collaborative working environment that fosters learning and growth.

6 sessions per week
15 appointments per session, with a mix of telephone and face-to-face consultations
Non-onerous duty shift on a shared rota basis
Shared home visits when required (typically covered by a paramedic)

The post-holder will be responsible for managing both routine and urgent patient caseloads, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to registered and temporary patients alike. They will work collaboratively as part of the wider clinical team to help meet contractual obligations and QOF targets. In addition, the role includes contributing to general clinical administration, such as reviewing pathology results, managing clinical tasks, handling medical reports, and responding to urgent patient enquiries.
