Salaried GP (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

A well-established, high-quality GP-led training practice, Burney Street Practice is seeking an enthusiastic, committed GP to join its friendly and forward-thinking team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.

Location: Burney Street Practice (SE10 8EX) and Wallace Health Centre (SE8 3BX)
Sessions: 4-6 per week
Salary: From £11,500 per session (depending on experience)

The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a GP to join a supportive, patient-centred practice on a 12-month fixed-term basis, with strong opportunities to contribute to service development.

The Role
The successful candidate will provide high-quality primary care across two sites, including:

Face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations
Management of acute and chronic conditions
Duty and prescribing sessions (rota-based)
Home visits and results management
Participation in QOF, audits, MDT meetings, and continuous improvement
Support the teaching and supervision of medical students

Candidate Requirements

Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
Completion of GP specialist training (MRCGP or equivalent)
Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP/Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)
Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
Demonstrable experience of working in a GP practice
Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Commitment to high standards of patient care
